MoH is the first spectacular war game, trying to capture reality, but not at the cost of unnecessary player difficulty. Medal of Honor is still more "arcade" entertainment, you can get it in your head a few times with the fact that a bandage and viagra from the first aid kit will do it just fine, but with its level design, i.e. the environment, it evokes a realistic atmosphere of the second world and that is an interesting combination . The content of the missions strives for variability, once you have to blow something up, ambush someone, bring something, defend yourself, or just shoot your way forward, but again, MoH is a normal shooter, so let's not look for any sophistication or attention to detail here.

The length of the game was not bad, in addition, the multiplayer, even if it does not have a very wide player base, was also above average, but still I think that such an RtCW survives the time much better, it was a more expressive game with a denser atmosphere and, in short, bigger balls, even though the battlefield and environment from MoH was more sophisticated.

Graphically, MoH is great, it gets the most out of the Quake 3 engine, and even the tree leaves, which were made up of intersecting perforated surfaces, didn't seem obnoxious at all. Overall, an excellent game for its year, no significant mistakes, but not with significantly curling moments either, because I still think that the first half hour of Save Private Ryan is stronger than the previously much praised Omaha Beach mission in MoH.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault isn't just a game about shooting; it's about experiencing a significant part of history. It's a great choice for anyone who loves war games or wants to get a sense of what World War II combat was like. With its combination of action, historical immersion, and challenging gameplay, it offers an unforgettable journey into the past.
