A classic adventure mapping one of the many cases of Sherlock Holmes and his faithful assistant Dr. Watson. This time it is the case of an actress murdered in an alley behind her home theater. As Inspector Lestrade is unsure, as usual, a famous detective is asked for his help. He has doubts that this should be the work of Jack the Ripper, and with his traditional stubbornness, he embarks on an investigation. In search of clues, the player goes through many different parts of what was then London, such as a zoo, morgue or an abandoned dock. as well as solving various puzzles based on the use of classical investigative procedures and deduction, as is the case in the original short stories. Four years later, the game saw the sequel The Case of the Rose Tattoo.
