This great racing game with arcade elements holds to it's name - you have to OutRun your opponents and get to the finish line on the first place. You race in five different levels (a total of 15 tracks available) and for each level you have a certain time limit for which you must complete. You have infinite lives, but if you make a lot of mistakes, do won't manage to finish the track and the game ends for you. Out Run is a pseudo-3D driving video game in which the player controls a Ferrari Testarossa convertible from a third-person rear perspective. The camera is placed near the ground, simulating a Ferrari driver's position and limiting the player's view into the distance. The road curves, crests, and dips, which increases the challenge by obscuring upcoming obstacles such as traffic that the player must avoid. You must well calculate every bend and and evaluate whether you come in contact with your opponents - any contact with another car can cause that your car to roll and you will lose the time. The game has one big positive point - you drive a luxury red Ferrrari and your co-driver is none other than the beautiful slim blonde :-)
