Battlezone is an DOS game that became popular for its unique gameplay and innovative graphics. This game is a tank simulator where you get to control a tank in a virtual battlefield. The game is known for being one of the first to use 3D graphics, even though they were pretty simple by today's standards. It is even considered first first-person shooter game.

In Battlezone, you see the world through the viewfinder of your tank. The graphics are made up of lines creating shapes that look like tanks and pyramids, all in a black and green color scheme. This style was really cool and new back in 1981. Your job in the game is to drive your tank around and shoot at enemy tanks. You have to be careful though, because they are trying to shoot you too! The controls are pretty straightforward, so it's easy to start playing, but getting good at hitting your targets while not getting hit takes some practice.

One of the best things about Battlezone is the feeling that you're really inside a tank, looking out into a big, open space. It's exciting to look around for enemy tanks and line up the perfect shot. Even though the graphics are simple, they do a great job of making you feel like you're in the middle of a tank battle.

This game was a big step forward in video game technology and a fun game that many enjoyed playing.
