Like the first game, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York follows the plot from the movie. Kevin McCallister is this time lost in New York and once again he met his old "friends" - the thieves, who he helped to arrest the first part. He has to run away from them and again carefully plan the traps. The game is divided into four levels. At every level you run from Harry and Marv and along the way you are trying to lure them into traps. You can also use the weapons that Kevin wears (such as punchguns). The end of the level is followed by a brief cutscene from the movie.
