Crazy Cars je jednoduchá závodní hra, která roku 1987 započala trilogii Crazy Cars. Na výběr je v ní ze tří vozů. Zpočátku závodíte s Mercedesem 560, poté následuje Porsche 911 Turbo, předposledním vozem je Lamborghini Countach a na závěr vás hra nechá svézt ve Ferrari GTO. Zazávodíte si na různých místech situovaných v USA, namátkou v Malibu, Arizoně či New Yorku.
Na startu závodu vám je představen časový limit, ve kterém musíte dojet do cíle. Jestliže čas vyprší dříve, než se dostanete na konec trasy, musíte ji zajet znovu. Ovládání vozů je jednoduché, můžete pouze zrychlovat, brzdit a zatáčet. Auta disponují pouze automatickou převodovku. Během jízdy musíte dávat pozor na ostré zatáčky, nerovnosti terénu a zejména na projíždějící vozy. Srážka s nimi vás dokáže značně zpomalit.
