SimCity is a legendary building strategy about running and developing a city. The player creates zones for residential houses, shops and offices, and industry, but also has to provide them with sufficient transportation and electrical grid. The key, however, is layout, because people don't want to live near power plants or industrial zones, but they also don't want to commute far to work. Also important is the coverage of police and fire stations, hospitals, etc. But all these institutions consume important finances that come from taxes. If they are low, you won't make much, otherwise people will move away. From time to time, a natural disaster such as an earthquake or tornado can hit the city. The game has no given goal, just build on and on. The exception is scenarios in which a certain urban problem (such as traffic jams) must be solved within a time limit. …read more
Game review
Sim city, building strategy. Well, building, at first the game is mainly about bankruptcy. Choose a map and start building. you are building a city, so someone will live there - build a house. Or even more. People need to watch TV, steam on a computer or whatever, you have to build a power plant anyway. Atomic or thermal. It is better to build an atomic one a little further. Firstly, it seems strange to have Temelín in the middle of the city, and secondly, the probability that it will explode is not so small. Then the sign puffs on you. it's definitely logical, even at home you have a road. So you build roads. The goal of the game is to earn, people pay taxes directly to you - that's good isn't it? In any case, you have to build firefighters, airports, police officers, a hospital and a lot of other unnecessary things that cost money. And that's a stumbling block. Money. It's nice to build, but usually doesn't make much money. Most likely, you have had your first bankruptcy. Congratulations.
I consider the population to be 60,000, then the game becomes very difficult. It's good to let the game run sometimes and let the city make money and then build on. You can cover losses during expansion with capital and eventually make money again. In the end, I came to the conclusion that I had half a million inhabitants and the city made money. I consider it quite a success. An more interesting part of the game is the construction of the city, which is finished but has a problem. For example, the bombing of he he he. I recommend building firefighters. Another interesting thing is disasters. If the game seems too simple, you can flood the city, trigger an earthquake, but most importantly let Godzil go - an amazing thing.
Overall, Sim City is the first in the Sim series, so it's pretty clumsy and the graphics aren't much. But it's not about that, it's just Sim City and that speaks for itself ...
