The game was inspired by the blockbuster movie - Terminator. Terminator offered an unimaginable atmosphere, unique missions, but also an elaborate story. You play as one of the members of the resistance movement led by John Connor and perform various missions in his skin. The year is 2015, and planet Earth is dominated by robots led by a super computer - Skynet. Only a small part of humanity defies machine to preserve their own life and you are among one of them. You meet the leader of the resistance - John Connor and also Kyle Reese, who will give you different missions to accomplish. The Terminator: Future Shock is one of the first 3D shooters with mouse-based camera rotation, lately popularized by Quake. The game is more focused on performing various diversionary actions, so as a true freedom fighter you will infiltrate enemy camps, destroy generators and generally do a lot for the salvation of humanity. All this on huge maps littered with evidence of war (such as discarded weapons, piles of bones or the corpses of the less fortunate members of the resistance), where you can climb into every building and an enemy lurks around every corner. And that there are not a few of them. The game is also interesting that in addition to walking you can drive a variety of vehicles (eg jeep).
