The House of the Dead 2 is a straightforwrd action rail shooter game that became widely recognized for its intense action and horror themes. Developed by SEGA, this game is the second installment in the popular "The House of the Dead" series, and it successfully builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, offering a more immersive and thrilling experience. Set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by horrific zombies and other monstrous creatures, The House of the Dead 2 immerses players in a desperate fight for survival. The game's storyline follows agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart as they navigate through the infested streets of a fictional city, aiming to uncover the source of the mysterious outbreak and put an end to the terror. The player in the role of a special agent must, with the help of two colleagues, clean up the city and shoot his way to the main villain, who is the mysterious Goldman. Only the mouse is needed to play, as the player does not perform any movement and is automatically moved through static screens that are infested with attacking zombies. The main campaign consists of six levels, in which, in addition to eliminating creatures, the task is, for example, to save the inhabitants of the city. At the end of each level there is always a tough boss. There is also, for example, eight levels of training with special tasks.
