Castlevania is a thrilling arcade action game that plunges players into the eerie depths of a mysterious castle teeming with supernatural foes. As you navigate this haunting environment, you find yourself in relentless combat against hordes of zombies, ghosts, and a variety of monstrous creatures. Every hundred years after his death, Count Dracula is resurrected and terrorizes the surrounding land. Simon Belmont is a brave vampire hunter who goes to the mansion of Count Dracula to defeat him. Along the way, he will have to fight skeletons, bats, jellyfish heads and other insidious vermin. The game takes place in the Count's mansion and its immediate surroundings. Simon's main weapon against enemies is a whip, at the end of each part of the castle there is a big boss waiting for our hero, which must be defeated. Played from a side-scrolling perspective, Castlevania immerses players in the role of Simon Belmont, a character armed with the ability to jump and wield a powerful whip against his enemies. The game's mechanics are centered around this classic action formula – defeat all that moves and survive the dark forces that inhabit the castle.
