Dr. Richardsa scientific base on the island, which purpose was to investigate the healing powers and get extract, that could be used in medicine. He has succeeded, but one member of his team - Santorini got an idea he wants to take the medicine only for himself and sell it for big bucks. So Santorini hired a horde of soldiers and conquered the whole island. Dr. Richards have no other option, only to defend himself and while he doesn't have any military experience, you just hired you to help him solve this situation. Jagged Alliance is a real-time warfare strategy where you fight for the land on the island Metavira. You have to start from the beginning: hire soldiers, who will fight for you and gradually gain more areas. The game is very extensive and during the gameplay you must think about a lot of things (for example, hiring natives to protect the land you conquered, recruit more troops, collect medicinal extract, checking financial results of your unit, etc.), so you will be able to finish the game successfully.
