Alien Carnage is action old game, published in 1993 by Apogee Software. Planet Earth has been invaded by aliens, transforming humans into a walking zombies, so they're easier to control. The only hope of humanity is Harry (the game is often also referred to the original name from 1985 - Haloween Harry), in which the role you put yourself you. You have to skip through many levels where you fight against all sorts of aliens and your mission is to free as many humans as possible and eventually save the entire Earth. During the game you will find different weapons, most have a very limiting ammo, so be careful what you shoot on. Game Alien Carnage is a great side-scrolling platformer that Apogee released in 2007 as freeware.

To save humanity, Harry is forced to go through four large stages (sewers, factory, office building and alien ship), which are divided into a number of smaller levels. On each of them we will meet people waiting for their savior. And reaching them is the main goal of the game. In addition to saving people, we will have to shoot green zombies and aliens a lot. Each episode ends, of course, with a fight against the so-called a boss who usually requires more effort than weaker creatures.

Harry's primary weapon is a flamethrower. There are also automatic weapon "shops" on each board, where you can also buy ammunition. However, to obtain funds for this, you need to collect coins dropped by each dying opponent. A very important element of Harry's equipment is his jetpack, which allows him to fly to higher platforms. But be careful, the fuel in the jetpack runs out quite quickly, and its lack may prevent us from reaching the next stage.

There is also an interesting story associated with the game in question, because it is a product that has changed its title during its presence on the market. At the time of its debut, the game was titled Halloween Harry, but after eleven months on the market, the publisher found that the title was too closely associated with Halloween. So it was decided to change the title to Alien Carnage. Unfortunately, the graphics in Alien Carnage are not impressive, but it must be remembered that this production is 14 years old. The atmosphere is a bit gloomy, but it seems to fit the character of the game even more. Three levels of difficulty and the ability to choose any episode will certainly appeal to players who are not necessarily masters of arcade games.

Generally, it is worth playing Alien Carnage and remembering the old days.
