There are plenty of action fighting games, One Must Fall 2097 attempted to revive the genre and bring new elements into it. In 2097 the Earth is ruled by the only one company known as W.A.R. (The World Aeronautics and Robotics Corp.). In 2097 the company decided to colonizes Ganymede - one of the Jupiter's moons. Since the environment is difficult, the company decided to hold a tournament, where the winner will become the ruler of Ganymede. The tournament is based on arena combats of giant robots, which are controlled by humans (HAR - Human Assisted Robots). You control one of the robots and the objective is clear: you have to win the tournament. You can choose from a total of 11 robots (at the beginning only 10, after winning the tournament you can choose one more bonus robot). OMF has, unlike other fighting games, an explanation of why you have to actually fight, a nice interface and little nice things around gameplay. Your skills are determined not only by choosing a robot, but also by you - its pilot.
