This game was an early foray into golf simulations, focusing on delivering a straightforward golfing experience that could be enjoyed by fans of the sport. World Class Leader Board had for its time with high-quality ambient sounds, decent graphics, faithful animation of the movement of hitting the ball and four courses, 3 of which are modeled after real courses (St. Andrews, Doral Country Club, Cypress Creek) and one is fictional (The Gauntlet). Each course has 18 holes. It is possible to create your own course by combining eighteen existing holes, including the ability to modify the surrounding environment to a limited extent (choose trees). The game supports hot-seat multiplayer (1 pc game) for up to 4 players. Hitting the ball depends on a number of factors - wind, direction, power and accuracy of the shot and the type of club. Water, sand and trees bordering the course must be carefully avoided when teeing off. World Class Leader Board was a humble yet fun golf simulator for its time. It didn't have the fancy features of modern games, but for golf enthusiasts with a old computer or console, it was a nice way to enjoy a quick round of golf without leaving home.
