Game review

In BurgerTime, players take on the role of Chef Peter Pepper, who must navigate a series of platforms and ladders to create giant hamburgers. The objective of the game is to complete a set number of hamburgers by walking over the burger ingredients (buns, patties, lettuce, and tomatoes) scattered across the level, which causes them to drop to the level below and gradually form a complete burger at the bottom of the screen.

The challenge in BurgerTime comes from the various enemy characters, such as Mr. Hot Dog, Mr. Pickle, and Mr. Egg, who chase Chef Peter Pepper around the levels. Players must carefully navigate to avoid these enemies while working to assemble the burgers. Chef Peter Pepper can use a limited supply of pepper to temporarily stun the enemies, giving him a moment to escape or continue building burgers. Additionally, players can strategically drop burger ingredients to trap or squish the pursuing enemies.

One of the distinctive features of BurgerTime is its level design. The platforms and ladders create a maze-like environment that requires strategic thinking and quick reflexes to navigate effectively. The game's difficulty increases with each level, introducing more enemies and complex layouts.

BurgerTime is remembered as a classic game of the early computing and arcade era.
